MEGAcel ^® III

The MEGAcel III filter is developed to safely handle high airflow rates up to 5000 m³/h for intake, exhaust, and recirculated air. Typical applications are HVAC installations for sensitive processes, such as pharmaceutical or food and beverage, and areas in which hazardous materials like asbestos are handled. This filter’s precise V-shaped configuration optimizes the filtering area, resulting in a high dust holding capacity and air purity level. The MEGAcel III filter also has an ABS plastic construction for easy installation and complete incinerability.

The MEGAcel III high capacity air filter is equipped with AAF’s proprietary eFRM filtration technology. As a consequence of its consistent membrane media composition with fine nanometer-scale fibers, this filter provides improved particulate collection efficiency, in combination with a very low operating resistance. The MEGAcel III filter supports air quality optimization for critical areas and delivers significantly lower energy consumption throughout the entire filter life cycle.

Due to this filter’s high capacity, fewer air filters are required to handle the same volume of air compared to identically sized HEPA filters with a lower capacity. Less installation space is required, and installation time is reduced. Operational stability is assured because of the superior mechanical strength of this filter’s eFRM membrane media. Together with its rigid frame construction, the MEGAcel III filter provides improved filtration reliability and minimized failure risk, optimizing lifetime expectancy.
